Zara is a hand-turned wooden candle vessel made from a discarded exotic hardwood. The form is low and substantial, with a wide opening and subtle tool lines that reflect its handmade origin.
The candle is poured with a fresh apple-scented wax. Due to the natural cooling process of wax, the surface shows light cracking and mottling, which does not affect burn quality and will soften as the candle is used. These variations are cosmetic and part of the handmade process.
Finished with a water-resistant blend of linseed oil and beeswax. Once burned, the vessel can be cleaned and reused as a small bowl or catchall.
Dimensions: approximately 5.5” in diameter and 1.875” high
