At Timber Wolf Woodturning, i create hand-crafted wooden pieces shaped to highlight the natural grain.

I work with a mix of domestic and exotic woods, from richly figured maple and olivewood to salvaged trees and reclaimed materials. I select each wood for its character and potential rather than perfection. Some of my work incorporates wood with knots, natural variation, or subtle irregularities, while other pieces emphasize clean lines and refined finishes. In every case, the goal is the same: to let the grain, color, and feel of the wood guide the final form and to create pieces that are both functional and enduring.

Hi! I’m Jessica. What began as a single woodturning video suggested by Youtube’s algorithms quickly became an obsession. One woodturning class later and the rest is history! I love watching each piece of wood take shape as it turns and letting it tell me what it wants to be. There’s something deeply satisfying about watching a block of wood take shape on the lathe, especially when the grain comes alive under the finish.

Working with wood feels so intuitive to me, perhaps shaped by my Minnesotan roots and a childhood growing up helping my dad in the shop. Each piece I make is turned, sanded, and finished by hand, with attention to balance, comfort, and longevity.

I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I do in making them!
